Who We Are Decarbonizing the Region

Shepherd CCS is at the forefront of decarbonization efforts in South Korea. Ten industry leaders, including Lotte Chemical, PETRONAS, SAMSUNG E&A, Samsung Heavy Industries, SK Earthon,
SK Energy, KNOC, Hanhwa Corporation and Shell, united to spearhead a groundbreaking initiative: a transboundary CCS project between South Korea and Malaysia.

Drawing upon our collective expertise in CO2 capture, liquefaction, transportation, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), and storage exploration, we are dedicated to decarbonizing industrial complexes in Ulsan, South Korea. Our goal is to commence operations by 2028, paving the way for a sustainable low-carbon future.
